As part of this we have launched a recruitment campaign to find some exceptional Senior Technology Advisors to join Technology Group and help drive this change. Here’s what you can expect if you apply to work with us.
We are recruiting Senior Technology Advisors to work in three key areas:
- Strategy and Policy - driving the effective use of technology and the internet within government through the delivery of progressive strategy, policies and interventions
- Technology networks and communities - making government more effective by joining up and strengthening the Government technology leadership community
- Controls and assurance - providing assurance that spend proposals and digital services meet required standards
Senior Technology Advisors undertake a varied range of tasks. You’ll need to be highly technology-literate, but also able to make the case for technology reform and to work with stakeholders internally, across Government and more widely to implement change.
We are looking for people who have an understanding of working within a Department and understand the internal barriers for change. If you have been frustrated by Departmental technology that has impeded the role of your team, then join us to make it better.
